I Am Choosing To Trust God: No Limits

Here recently I have been feeling so challenged to trust God without borders. So many times we are tempted to put limits on the areas where we believe God has the ability to affect change in our lives. If we are to allow Him to be involved in every aspect of who we are, then we have to make the daily decision to trust Him and what His word says about us and any circumstance we may face.

When We Limit God In One Area, We Limit Him In All Areas

The Holy Spirit has been teaching me that doubt can’t be compartmentalized. When we limit our willingness to believe God with one area of our lives, then Gods ability to move becomes hindered in every area of our lives. If we really want to walk in the total freedom God has for every one of us, then we have to start by believing that all of God’s word is true.

Trusting God is for sure easier said then done. It’s not even something that God expects us to do on our own.

How Do We Grow Our Faith In The Presence Of Doubt?

In Mark 9:24 we see a man asking Jesus for healing for his child. He prayed a powerful prayer that I believe resonates with every one of us at some time or another. “ Lord, I believe but help my unbelief.” The truth is, there are so many things in life that can erode our faith in Gods ability and willingness to get involved in our lives. Perhaps you see others advancing in areas where you feel stuck. Maybe you made that mistake you promised God we would never make again or experienced a heart break you didn’t see coming.

I believe that we when we choose to turn to God in spite of our doubts, it shows faith. God can take us from where we are and lead us to where He wants us to be. All He needs is a willing heart.

He cares about every part of us. He wants us to let him into every room of our hearts so he can do a total healing and restoration in every area of our lives.

So I ask you. Will you make the choice to choose God today? Choose to feed your heart and your thoughts with what his Word says about you and your life. Choose to trust God with out limits.
