God as called us each for an individual purpose. He has placed dreams and goals in each one of our hearts, but it can be difficult waiting for those dreams to come to fruition. It takes spiritual endurance not to loose heart in the waiting. Here is a lesson we can Learn from the story of Joseph on how to build the spiritual endurance.
Josephs started interpreting the dreams God had given him at the age 17. He then professed his dreams before a congregation of brothers that hated him and a father that rebuked him. He demonstrated faithfulness and practiced a life of sanctification as a slave in the Pharaohs Place. This ended up leading him to prison where he continued building habits of faithfulness, and took advantage of the chance to utilize his gift to interpret dreams, even though one of the people he invested in ended up forgetting him for 2 years. Weather he was submerged in family hostility, slavery, or prison Joseph continued to serve in the position life provided on the way to the position originally God ordained him to be in.
It is important to do our best to serve at the level you have access to. Romans 11:29 tells us the gifts and calling God gives he does not take way. No matter how long the waiting period takes if God has promised it he will bring it to pass. He has a plan for us and the road map on how he will get us from where we are to where he wants us to be, no matter how many twist and turns life takes goal I’d to trust God along the way.
So what do we do in the waiting? On our way to a position of promotion we should be focused on Gods presence. The time we spend face to face with God will give us what we need to manage our blessings with Godly character.
God uses each twist and turn to draw us closer to him, build our integrity, and to help us gain spiritual endurance. Trusting him means trusting the process he will bring you through. Remember, we can do everything God has called us to do. We can be everything he says we can be. We can have everything the word says we can have.
